Beef Cattle CIDR Applicator
The CIDR applicator is used to insert the CIDR into the vagina of the heifer or mature cow. The manufacturer recommends that the blue implant tool (17 inches in length) is used for mature Dairy cattle due to length of the vagina and the green implant tool (13 inches in length) is used for Beef cattle. You may need the longer implant tool for some mature beef cattle that have had multiple births.
